Sinéad Donnelly

Sinéad Donnelly has over 15 years’ experience in employment law and HR management.
She advises clients on HR issues and both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. She provides training in all areas of employment law, holds the Acas Certificate in Workplace Mediation and is a certified Mental Health First Aider.
Sinéad completed a Law degree at Queens University, Belfast and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Management through Premiere, a Northern Ireland graduate management development programme. She gained a Diploma in Legal Practice at Manchester Metropolitan University and qualified as a solicitor at Brabners. She then worked as an Employee Benefits Manager at Deloitte, where she completed the Association of Taxation Technicians exams. Her next move was to DWF where she became an employment law specialist before moving to Field Fisher Waterhouse and then Clyde & Co.
To gain broader HR experience, she joined the Royal Bank of Scotland where, as Head of Employee Relations, she was instrumental in the HR aspects of the creation and subsequent divesting of Williams and Glyn, a standalone bank and group entity of RBS. After a time as Head of People at Marks and Spencer, Sinéad returned to practising law at DWF, where she became a Director. The Legal 500 has recognised her as a ‘rising star’ and as a ‘next generation partner’.
